[When the feed flickers on the view is shaky at best. At least, until the SFC is gently placed down on a stable surface. What had once been dark and gloomy was now filled with saddened light, if the costume change was any indication, because two separate things happened during the night.]

[Riku gives a heavy sigh, pulling himself together for just a while longer. First Sora came, but now their other friend was gone? The one who'd accepted that he still had a long way to go? It stung more than he could say, and it was just too much to take at once.]

[He waits patiently until he hears the knock on the door. But before he even gets to the door, there's a small white puppy pawing at it. He's holding the one named after him - and every bit the serious one - as he (tries) to open the door. ...Silly puppy, we don't want to bop you on the nose with the door.

Finally though, she moves. And he's able to get the door open.]

... Hey, Naminé.

[He moves to let her inside, the little white dog now hiding behind him- ack, must not trip.]

[She puts on a faint smile when she sees him and the puppy. She remembered that Kairi had wanted to give her the cute animal several weeks ago.]

Come here. [She gestures to the dog, who waddles up to her, clearly happy. Scratching it on her ears, she looks up at Riku.]
