[It was one of the very few times Riku had gotten any sleep.

It was also the day that zombie fish decided to rise on up from the ground like some sort of twist to song lyrics.

So there is a very disgruntled looking Riku, a couple scrapes crossing his face here and there.]

I'd invite everyone over for an old-fashioned fish fry, but I'm afraid even an islander can't salvage this bunch of rancid meat.

[...Was he kidding? It's hard to tell with that poker face before the feed cuts. H-hopefully that wasn't a flash of gold the viewer saw behind a sliced bit of blindfold.]

[Riku can probably be found in various parts of the city, but whether he appears to be himself or another has yet to be seen.]

[As he's watching and listening, he reaches down - slowly - to pick up the blindfold. As he rises, the face returns to the all-too-familiar one.

He clenches the blindfold tightly, as if Riku's experience just now was the object's fault. Then he just steps forward and uses both hands to press the blindfold right over top of the messy bangs, a grimace on his face.]

[But is it really the blindfold's fault?

He blinks when it's held over his eyes, then places his hands over the cloth behind his younger look-a-like's to hold it steady. It's almost immediate, how the darkness stops seeping out as easily. He'll fix it later, but for now only one word comes out—shakily at best.]

[Riku nods, bending down slightly to pull the cloth away and slip it under his bangs. He can understand why someone with his memories would hate it, even if it couldn't be as horrid as experiencing it firsthand.] Yeah.

[Tying it tightly, so he doesn't lose it again so easily.] Looks like the control hasn't slipped since before I came back, but...

[He chuckles a bit, and it almost looks like he's going to pass him by as he walks... yet he stops, placing a hand on Caden's shoulder.]
