10th Dawn ✯ [Video/Action]
[The feed's bouncing a little, like the person was walking when the feed turned on. If you look closely, there's a few snapped trees in the background, and what looks to be a pond of sorts. There's a little laughter in the background this time, but whether or not it's honest or forced remains to be seen. The feed crackles a bit, before coming to focus on his face. Now the owner's a little wet, judging by the dripping bangs as he sits down at a cafe. He smiles faintly, but is it true?]
Looks like quite a few new people have been arriving lately, even back during the attacks. Those pirates can be quite amusing when they aren't on the attack, huh.
[He chuckles a bit, fingering the locket around his neck.]
Guess anyone can be sentimental, too. Also... has anyone else noticed something different since the pirate ship crashed into the barrier?

[Back to the more important subject and trying avoid the fact that she actually cares.] Is there something different about the barrier?
no subject
[Hm. Well, this was a little different. He'd noticed the outfit change, and that she looked slightly older, but didn't comment just yet.]
Not the barrier, no... but it's a little odd here, now. Besides the pirates there really wasn't a curse at all that week. And, now that I think about it, how long has it been since you visited the coral?

She also forgot that her appearance might throw some people off still.]
I see your point. When the zombie mermaids where here, it was a similar situation. However, before they were here, the water was turning a green and I think there was an Earthquake. [She blinks.] I'm not sure...you?
no subject
Guess only time will tell about that one. [A pause.] ...Two and a half weeks. I'm still not lethargic outside of what happened with the fighting.
no subject
I guess so. Just remain on your guard. Are you okay from the pirates? You didn't get hurt did you? That is rather weird.
no subject
[...Bullshit. He's been suffering headaches occasionally, now.]
Don't worry, I will. Can't afford to let my guard down.
no subject
[Oh man that's not good. Headaches are the worse.]
I'm glad to hear it. Here, I thought Vatheon was more peaceful. First zombies and now pirates...I wonder what else is going to be thrown at us.
no subject
I've yet to have much peace while here, but I see your point.
[He pauses.]
...I take it you returned home for a while?
no subject
I'm sorry to hear that Riku. Maybe you'll be able to now.
[She blinks and smiles at him.]
Yeah...I guess I was gone for three days here but in my time, three years passed. [She looks sad for a second.] It was a long journey.
no subject
[A faint chuckle as he listened, but in the end he gives her a thoughtful glance.]
I would suppose so. Most journeys are long and tedious.
no subject
[She smiles and then sighs quietly.]
I'm just glad that ours is over now. Three years passed before I was reunited with Inuyasha. It was hard.
no subject
[He closes his eyes a moment, still listening. Reunions...]
Yeah, I'll bet.
no subject
[She watches him close his eyes.]
Riku, are you alright.
[She smiles slightly.] I think that was harder than defeating Naraku.
no subject
Yeah, I'm fine.
[He opens his eyes, smirking faintly.]
Separation from those you care about is always harder than defeating those who oppose you.
no subject
I'm glad to hear it.
[She smiled wisely, before sighing.] I wasn't sure I was ever going to see him again. I had a choice between going back to the Feudal Era or staying in the modern Era. I have people who love me on both sides....but in the end, I knew what choice I had to make.
no subject
It's always hard to choose between those you care about.
