It doesn't give a thing away about his present location other than just how dark it is in there, like he'd waited for the opportune moment to even begin to say something. Then again, he would probably still be silent had it not been for this confrontation.]

Hey. Hope I didn't miss too much while out of it. Though, a certain fox seems to have grown quiet...

[For most it cuts there, but for those from his universe... there's a heavy sigh as Riku sets a lock; 80% unhackable.]

... I know some of you don't agree with some of the decisions I've made lately. I'm not going to explain why I've done it, because it'll more than likely fall on deaf ears. Like I said to Aqua, I helped Vanitas take care of Ven this far because I believed that it was the right thing to do. After all, I promised two people to help keep him safe... and I've done just that.

[There's a pause as he closes his eyes, the rest of his face cast in shadow under the hood he's wearing. He's kept this in for so long that now it's finally bursting to the surface. In fact, it's probably a miracle he lasted this long without exploding again.]

Now I promised Ven to pass this on: he's getting better; almost able to walk on his own without walking dazedly into objects. It should only be a few more days before he's well enough to come out. Though... he might still be a bit out of it when he does.

If I'm to be painted the villain again for standing by someone who's helped me, then so be it.

[Then the feed fades out, before being reset to Sora and Kairi only.]

I'm sorry I've been gone for so long... Just a few more days, and I'll be back. I promise.

[Riku sighs, lowering the hood and pinching his nose in irritation. The dizzy spells were annoying as hell and that was the main reason he'd had the hood up while broadcasting. Now... what to do.]

Wonder how long the hatred and prejudice will last.

[His expression is carefully neutral as he says this. His lilac eyes are focused more on something off-screen, and it doesn't look like he's very happy with what he sees.]

I'm sure you recall the time I was in Enjin's possession. The reason he had me was because he had Aziraphale. Long story short, he made him see something that's breaking him even now.

[He might as well say it all.]

Aziraphale and a good friend of mine were a couple while my friend was in Vatheon. He's gone home, but Enjin made Aziraphale think something happened to his boyfriend, one Sanae Hanekoma, affectionately called Mr. H.

[At this, the teen holds up the note Enjin had left for him, allowing Riku to read it. "Have fun fixing the angel, J."]

[Which suits him just fine, for otherwise it would have been locked anyway, given their usual detour into personal discussions.]

['It's hard to forget what caused you to create a crater-lake in the forest, Joshua.' Regardless, he listens...and a spark of anger reignited in his heart. Stupid fox─]

[That tactic... he knew it well, and even though it had been true in his case, his jaw sets into a scowl at the sight of those words.]

I don't know your friend, but if you ever need any help... let me know. Someone like Aziraphale doesn't deserve that sort of pain.

[Joshua sets down the note, crossing his arms.]

I'll need to confront him about it, that's for certain. If I need you, I'll be sure to call you. I'd like to keep this from Neku, Kyouriki, and Jeanne as much as possible. After Enjin's stunt, I think it wise to leave them out of the loop unless we need their help.

[He's always holding secrets, intentionally withholding information from people, and after an after-life full of this habit, it's hard to quit. Hard to really confide in people. Perhaps it's a good change for him to have people like Riku and Sanae, people he can trust to keep secrets as well as he can. An odd twist of fate, maybe.]

By the way, how's your situation going? I don't need the details if you don't want to say.

Alright. Though, it could just as easily be more productive to inform them of what's happened then for them to find out the hard way. Regardless, it's your choice.

[And his lips will still be shut on anything Joshua doesn't want passed around. He knows just how hard it is, having still not shared with his own lovers what happened during his time away in the darkness. Maybe one day they'll both kick the habit, or maybe not. They'll find out eventually.

True, but we'll see what happens after my confrontation. I'm not sure what exactly he saw, but once I find out I'll figure out what the best course of action would be. For now, I think they're better off being left out of this.

Old prejudices die hard. He's the entity of pure darkness that once faded a while ago. Due to his relations to Ventus, they have to stay together while they heal. One of Ventus' friends fails to realize it no matter how many times it's been attempted to beat it into her head.

I dragged myself into it by helping them both get to safety.

They're the pure light and darkness around here, correct? Or, at least one of the pure lights in Vatheon. [Derp, can't forget about Kairi.] I don't quite understand their need to be together, but as far as dealing with Ventus' friend is concerned...you might be better off not talking to her until she's cooled down. It doesn't matter who's right or wrong when one person is being more emotional than the other.
