I take it by now you've all seen his broadcast, and as such... you're probably wondering just what this guy is on. I... suppose now that he's here I can't run from this shadow, even if I wanted to in the first place. He goes by "Ansem," though if I know anything, it isn't his true name and even so... you don't want to get on his radar. Don't even so much as speak to him if you want to remain Whole.

Good to know. [the few wounds he got from your chakrams and Roxas' Keyblade definitely agree with that assessment.] You're not the only one who could have gone without this 'blast from the past.'

He already knows I'm here; hard not to when some of his darkness is still within me... but that doesn't stop me from wanting to protect the others. [A faint smirk; he's...almost expected this to happen, but it was his fear of losing control again that kept him in the shadows.]

Stay as far from his presence as possible and get Kairi somewhere safe once I find her... then the same thing. I already stuck my neck out to find out when he was was pulled from, exactly.

Looks like I may be bunking with Lea and Isa in the lower district for a bit until we get our chocobos in a row, as it were. I doubt they'd mind another roommate for a good reason, if it came to it. I'll prolly be back and forth between there and my apartment, so if Kairi needs a little creative kidnapping, I'm your guy, heh.

I never really dealt with this incarnation, but if his Nobody was a pain in the ass I don't even want to think about what sorts of trouble his Heartless is gonna cause. I ain't interested in letting history repeat itself.

I might be taking Luka up on his offer of shelter if he gets back to me, what with all that's happened so far. Otherwise, I'm moving from place to place. Can't afford to accidentally lead him right to anyone in particular. [A beat...and was that a smirk?] You'd better explain yourself to her after, though. Don't think she'd appreciate it, otherwise.

Oh, don't worry--I'd give her fair warning of impending theft of person. She bit the crap out of me last time. Once bitten twice shy, as they say.

He seems to be from just after Hollow Bastion and completing the final Keyhole. From what he's said and his little outburst, he still thinks he's going to win and drag me back down as well. [Thank you, powers that be, for making sure that his heart was in the Realm of Darkness at that point.]

[Axel looks thoughtful for a moment, trying to process this against his own timeline of events, then nods.]

He always thinks he's gonna win. I don't think that'd be any different in this incarnation. I mean, he even still pontificates at length the same. Least I don't have to pretend to care this time around.

Well, lemme know how it goes with Luka and Kairi. I think the best defense at this point is to pretend like we don't give a rat's ass that he's here, but to make sure our guard stays up anyway.

Fair enough. Though, he gets exceedingly arrogant when he's close to his goal. Good for you; I still have to pay attention in case anything could be directed at my heart.

Hey, just 'cuz I don't got a heart doesn't mean I've got nothing to worry about. But I'll take some good luck wherever I can get it.
